How are you feeling? As scientists forecast a second COVID-19 surge in the fall, a surge of another type is unfolding. The emotional and mental health impacts of the novel coronavirus are now being manifest every day. 

The pandemic brought new challenges and may have exacerbated mental health challenges as well as the emotional health impacts of having a chronic medical condition.

Get tips and resources to help your emotions now and in the days to come. Remember, it is not only OK to feel your feelings and seek help when needed. It’s a healthy thing to do.

The economic uncertainty, health concerns, and disruption to life can easily impact emotional and mental health.  The World Health Organization reports, “…the social consequences of the pandemic may affect brain health development in young children and adolescents and cognitive decline in the older population.”
